Reynold Bryan

Mr. Bryan serves as Managing Principal for Healthcare Margins LLC a boutique consulting firm leading business and information technology transformation projects for enterprise healthcare organizations. As a result of the healthcare solutions, Reynold has sold and managed projects where we increased patient and member satisfaction by 125%, retained 90% of client’s staff, decreased our clients 30-day readmission rates by 52% and increased the time healthcare providers spend with their patients by 25%, decreased claim denials by 37%, increased patient compliance with follow-up appointments by 83% and saved our healthcare clients $8.9MM in wasted administrative costs.
Reynold has spent over two decades with some of the top healthcare management consulting and technology firms in the industry such as PWC, Oracle, IBM, and Accenture. Reynold’s focus has been to lead enterprise-level business transformation engagements and sales leadership for healthcare payer and provider organizations and he sold over $5B in sales revenue growth over two decades of his career. Mr. Bryan also has led the international sales efforts of positioning a network technology provider for 400% sales revenue growth rate in North America, EMEA and APAC regions over 24 months by building out their sales teams and also their channel partners. Reynold spent the first decade and a half of his career as a CFO at UCSD Medical Center and also Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he grew the Faculty Practice Plan from 480 FTE physicians with $300MM in revenues to over 1,000 FTE physicians and over $500MM in revenues.
Mr. Bryan was also instrumental in the formation of some of the largest IPA’s and MSO’s in the nation and also provided strategic advisory for what is now named as U.S. Oncology, Ortholink, U.S. Cardiology. He was also instrumental in the formation of one of the first outpatient cardiac catheterization labs in the State of California, The Heart Institute of the Desert in Rancho Mirage California. Reynold sold his first management consulting company for $25MM in 1992 to PriceWaterhouse LLP. Reynold has served in the role of interim CEO, CAO, CFO of acute care and ambulatory businesses as a consultant for various assignments throughout his career.
Mr. Bryan received his Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University and Masters of Healthcare Services Administration from the University of San Francisco. Reynold currently sits on the strategic Board of Directors for the International Health Group School of Nursing, Pep-Up Tech, a not-for-profit organization focused on providing Salesforce.com certification for under-served minorities and The Citadel Group a revenue cycle management SaaS based technology provider. Reynold has also sat on Microsoft’s Health Advisory Board for two years during the development and roll-out of Microsoft’s Amalga and Community Connect platforms (currently known as Orion Health).
